Bovine smuggling bid foiled, two held

Early Times Report Kathua, Mar 26: With the arrest of two bovine smugglers, Kathua police claimed to have foiled a bovine smuggling and rescued ten bovines. Police spokesman said that a truck bearing registration number JK014A-8082 was signalled to stop at Kokhyal, Kathua but the driver escalated the speed and tried to escape but was overpowered by the team. Police spokesman said that on specific information a nakka was raised at Samrat Hotel and one pedestrian namly Bhuman Singh son of Banta Singh of Moga, Punjab was intercepted.
