JAMMU, Nov 18: Beating the champion side of Vijay Club 2-0 in the decider, Young Hero lifted the pending 2010-11 Senior Division Football League trophy at GGM Science College ground, here today. The crowd puller game, played between the two top clubs of the city, fully entertained the healthy crowd of supporters, from both the sides, gathered at the ground.
Leading by two goals in the first half of the play, Young Hero could not do well in the presence of strong defence raised by Vijay Club in rest of the game. On the other hand, Vijay Club, who played under protest (In view of opponent Young Hero played with over and above the number of players allowed from outside in a club team.
