Omar using 'anti-national' remarks to break PDP-BJP alliance
2/16/2017 11:14:01 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 16: J&K's former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is making desperate attempt to create divisions in the PDP-BJP alliance. He has pinned the truncated speech of CM Mehbooba Mufti on his tweeter handle, where she had made remarks about 'anti-national'.
Omar, who has just returned from the US, had earlier pinned the famous speech of Rabinder Nath Tagore"…where the head is held high…". He had removed that and put up the portion of the speech where CM is seen as using the remark "anti-national'. The full speech of the CM is available on the youtube and even on Facebook page of the CM and tweeter handle of the PDP.
"The former CM is trying to put things out of the perspective. And strangely it was the same party which had apparently supported the CM on her remark. But Omar who has a large following on twitter is trying

to show to the world that Mehbooba Mufti is terming all the people as anti-national who don't abide by her perspective," said a senior PDP minister.
Source said that it was another attempt by the NC which had disturbed the assembly proceedings on this issue, forcing the Speaker to adjourn the assembly sine die.
"If the NC would have been so serious about this issue, it should have forced the CM to make a statement or clarification about it in the House as the assembly still had about week more to go. But it tried to play up the issue only on labels than the substance. It feels that it can force the BJP to come out of the alliance on this issue," said the leader.
The PDP is also planning to put up the speeches of Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah in the social media to put the things in the perspective, which could be very damaging for the NC.
