Gandoh, Feb 16: Hundreds of Indian Congress workers today staged protest against the failures of the State Government. The protest was led by Om Prakesh Parihar, Block president, Bhallessa, who highlighted the demand of opening of ADC office at Sub Division Gandoh and demanded filling of vacant posts of Tehsildar Gandoh and Chilly Pingal. They said that new tehsils which had been sanctioned by previous Government should be started immediately. Scores of Congress workers under the leadership of block president Bhalessa Om Prakesh , assembled today at Gandoh and started shouting slogans against the Government. Hundreds of the workers participated in the protest in which large numbers of the people from Bhalessa participated. The Government is not performing according to the Agenda of Alliance. The farmers, business community, traders, students are totally fed up with this non-performing Government, which has failed on all fronts whether it is providing basic facilities to the people. The protester also demanded surgeon, physician, gynaecologist, etc laying vacant in Gandoh and Changa hospital since long and public have been suffering badly. MGNREGA payments are not being released to the job card holders and PMGSY roads are in miserable condition", he said and demanded special attention of Government. |
