Jan expresses concern on erratic power scenario

Poonch, Feb 17: Expressing serious concern over the erratic power scenario in areas of Pir Panjal region and Chenab valley , Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan today asked state government to shun it's carelessness and solve issues related to power crisis stating that has brought life to standstill.
Jan was addressing a public meeting in Mandi area of Poonch.
Party workers and leaders as well as locals of Mandi area informed Ajaz Jan that life has come to a standstill due to severe power crisis and unscheduled curtailment in on its peak.
Jan said that the present government has failed to maintain smooth functioning of various utility services especially the power.
" Power crisis is on peak and things are becoming worst due to unscheduled curtailment and government should shun it's carelessness and should come up with a proper approach to deal with the situation " Jan said adding that situation is too worst in Poonch district.
" All the areas of Poonch Haveli constituency are badly affected with no ruling party leader or government bothering about hardship of people " Jan stated.
He further stated that all the areas of Pir Panjal region and Chenab valley , especially the hilly areas, are going through tough times due to power crisis with government and concerned minister hardly bothering about the situation.
" Immediate steps should be taken to improve the situation and to solve a major issue of masses " he added.
He also remind government that examinations of different classes are on cards and it's time for students to prepare for papers but unscheduled curtailment is taking toll on their studies
Earlier Jan toured Mandi and held meetings with party cadre and asked them to be ready for ensuing panchayat polls.
He also exhorted that both PDP and BJP are all set to get result of their mis-governanace in past years in Panchayti polls.
