Jammu, Feb 17: J&K Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu conducted Executive Committee meeting in the office of JKCCA in which Pt. KewaL K Sharma, President, D P Abrol, Vice- President, Advo. Sahil Bhardwaj, General Secretary, Anita Sharma, Treasurer, O P Sharma, Director and founder members Nitish Bhardwaj, Ravi Kumar Sharma and Dr. Rajinder Kumar Sharma. Various issues related to the promotion of art, culture and literature were discussed and resolutions passed.
The committee constituted Advisory Board for the Performing Arts. K L Verma, a Tabla maestro from Jammu has been appointed as Chief Advisor of the Advisory Board for Performing Arts. The other members appointed for this board are Dr. Mamta Singh, Dehradun, Bimal Magotra, Radhey Shyam, Dr. Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Pt. Ravi Sharma, Amit Magotra, Jammu, Dr. Alamdar Adam. Poonch, Joginder Pal and K K Khaki, Sunderbani.
Advisory Board for Visual Arts consisting of Triloke Kaul, N D Jamwal, T S Batra, Harshvardhan, Jammu, M Y Taing, Srinagar, Chandana Khan, Hyderabad, V S Rahi, New Delhi, Akhilesh Nigam, Lucknow, Nathu Lal Verma, Jaipur, Romesh Bhosale and Pune, has already been constituted.
The committee also decided to hold 3rd International Art Exhibition by JKCCA during the month of April, 2017 and a National Women Painters Camp during May, 2017 at Jammu. It was also resolved to constitute Advisory Board for Literature during the next meeting of the Executive Committee of JKCCA.
