Akhand Jyoti organizes Rally to aware people about drug abuse

JAMMU, Feb 17: Akhand Jyoti committee in collaboration with Degree college Ramnagar, Police department, Childline Udhampur and Kesev vidhya kender organised a massive rally at Ramnagar town to aware the public about the abuse of drug addiction.
The rally begins from Degree college Ramnagar and after covering all the major points of town ends up at Keshav Vidya kender wherein Hundreds of students , youths and people from all walks of life participated in the rally. The students were raising slogans against drugs. They were also displaying banners carrying messages against drugs.
Speaking on the occasion Principal of Degree college Ramnagar Tara Nath said that drug addiction is a social evil in India. He appealed to the public and students to make distance from drugs in the interest of society and Nation.
SDPO Ramnagar Deepak Dhingra said that Police department is doing its best to eradicate this evil from the society but hundred percent success can be possible only with the participation of general public. He appriciated the role of Akhand Jyoti committee in this direction.
Rakesh Gupta Chairman of Keshav Vidya kender said that these addicted people are on the way to the steady and sure death as it is a social evil that not only effects the individual family but Nation as well.
Speaking on the occasion the main organizer of the rally Vinay Jandial said that our country is facing threats from several fronts and to make sure the integrity and unity of our country come forward and take pledge against drugs. He further said that a massive response from the youth and public of Ramnagar can cheer everyone that Ramnagar can become drug free in a very short period. He made his commitment that Akhand Jyoti committee will organize more programs to eradicate this evil from the society. He thanked the Principal of Degree college, SDPO Ramnagar, chairman KVK and public of Ramnagar to make the rally a grand success.
Besides others Prof. Pankaj, Sanjeev Jandial, Pankaj Saraff Arun Dev Singh, Pappu Verna and Manoj Laira were also present.
