KPS participates in inter block competition

kathua, Mar 20: Students of Kartar Public School Barnoti participated in Khelo India Inter Block Competition of District Kathua and bagged top positions in boxing competition. The students who got the prizes were honoured by the school management. Ravish of Class 9th bagged 1st prize and was awarded ` 1500 cash prize, Amanjot Singh of class 10th bagged 2nd prize and was awarded ` 1000 cash prize.
Sushant Singh of class 10th and Paras of class 8th both bagged 3rd prize and were awarded ` 500 cash prize each. Nishant of class 9th secured 4th position in 100 Metre race and Sandeep Singh of class 9th secured 5th position in short-put. Er.Nirmaljeet Singh (chairman -KPS) & Harpreet Kour (Secretary -KPS) congratulated the students as well as sports teacher Rakesh Kumar for this wonderful performance.
