Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 21: In November 2015, Prof Hari Om, senior BJP leader and political Advisor to J&K BJP president Jugal Kishore Sharma, was expelled from the party for six years. The party accused him of indulging in anti-party activities and criticizing the PDP-BJP agenda of alliance.
Prof Hari Om had been from day one opposing the BJP's post-poll alliance with the PDP, saying this alliance will hurt the party in J&K and rest of the country. He had written a number of "open letters" to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah urging them to "snap ties with the PDP" and directing the state unit of the BJP to play the role of an "effective and responsible opposition" and also to "fight for the cause of neglected Jammu".
His letters and statements on the issue - apart from a little share of Jammu in the government -- were not taken kindly by the party and he was summarily thrown out of the party. Reacting to his expulsion from th

Now that Ram Madhav has dismissed the PDP-BJP government a "failure" and Subramanian Swami has put two straight and highly critical questions to him and the National security Advisor, will the party high command apply the yardstick it applied in the case of Prof Hari Om and expel Ram Madhav from the party for six years?
e party, Prof Hari Om had said that "he was expelled from the party for no reason".
On Thursday, BJP national general secretary and architect of the PDP-BJP alliance and agenda of alliance, Ram Madhav, openly denounced the PDP-BJP coalition government and dismissed it as a failure. He, among other things, in an interview to CNN News 18, said: ""PDP-BJP has failed". He said so without mincing words.
Taking on Ram Madhav, none other senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Subramanian Swamy, asked: "Then who is accountable but he (Ram Madhav) and (Ajit) Doval (National Security Advisor)"? He also asked: "Did they bother to check before leaping?"
