The student body threatened to launch an agitation if the university did not revoke the order.
Terming the decision highly vindictive, Sunny Parihar, Spokesperson of JUSA said that instead of taking action against the students of SKUAST-Kashmir who disrespected National Anthem in the University, the administration has cancelled the admission of three students namely Rishikesh Bhardwaj, Pushpinder Singh and Nishant Gupta.
Vishal Kotwal , another student leader said that cancellation of admission of students without following the procedure and without hearing or giving the students any opportunity to present their case is against the principal of natural justice and shows the dictatorial and unlawful attitude adopted by the University administration towards students.
The student body asked the university administration to immediately revoke the order of cancellation of admission of students and to take action against the students.
