Jammu, Aug 18: State President, Shri Ram Sena, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajiv Mahajan urged the members of Citizens Cooperative Bank (CCB) Jammu to support and vote the new, eligible and honest candidate to change the corrupt Board of Directors (BoD) of the Bank.
Taking to reporters here on Friday, Rajiv Mahajan, contesting candidate for the post of president of CCB, demanded investigations against the present Board of Directors in view of large scale irregularities and misuse of public money in the bank. Rajiv said that the current Board headed by Dinesh Gupta owes its existence to massive rigging and as a consequence the management has gone into the hands of known corrupt. Hitting out on chairman CCBL, Dinesh Gupta for his acts of omission and commission activity, Rajiv Mahajan disclosed that bank has remained in the clutches of particular section of unscrupulous people on the management of the bank which were repeatedly superseded by government on serious charges of mismanagement and acts of serious financial irregularities. However, unscrupulous officers like Dinesh Gupta managed their repeated entries back to the bank for their ulterior and extraneous purposes, said Mahajan. There are several inquiry reports gathering dust in the files of Cooperative Department which are awaiting action against him for year together, he added.
