Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: Already facing criticism from its supporters for not openly coming out against Article 35A, BJP ministers faced embarrassment today when their own party spokesman pointed finger of suspicious towards seriousness of the state government to deport Bangladeshi and Rohingyas from Jammu.
As some groups have alleged that BJP's nominees in the Group of Ministers (GoM) constituted by the state government to take decision on Bangladeshi and Rohingyas, living illegally in Jammu and Samba districts, party's spokesman Prof Virender Gupta today regretted that despite repeated warnings by the Union Home Ministry, the J&K Government has failed to send these foreigners back to their respective countries immediately.
Statement issued by Prof Virender Gupta has landed BJP in an embarrassing situation because not only opposition but own party leaders have questioned intentions of the government to send their foreigners back. Earlier on Thursday Panthers Party had bl

med BJP for not deporting these foreigners.
It is alleged that instead of taking a tough stand during meeting of the GoMs, a couple of months back, BJP's representatives succumbed before their PDP counterparts who were in the interest of deporting these foreigners.
According to an official handout issued by the party, Prof Virender Gupta expressed his serious concern on the report that in spite of repeated reminders from the Ministry of Home Affairs on its directions about the formulation of strategy to deal with the issue of illegal settlement of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas in Jammu and Samba districts, the Group of Minister (GoM) constituted by the state government failed to formulated any policy to deal and deport the illegal settled these foreigners from the state of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that it is unfortunate that the GoM has not shown seriousness on the issue and that even though it held number of meetings but all of them turned out be inconclusive and without any output.
