Information Minister to take Review Meetings of PHE, Power, PWD, Local Bodies….!
BJP looks at it as attempt by PDP ministers to create 'trouble' in Jammu

Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: In what can be seen as 'political intrusion' into the strongholds of BJP, two senior PDP ministers have been making concerted efforts to have their 'upper hand' in administrative echelons of some districts in Jammu region and in the departments which are not in their control. Latest to simmer the concerns of BJP is an official letter circulated today in Udhampur stating PDP minister Choudhary Zulfikar will take review meetings in the district tomorrow of the departments with which he is remotely connected as most of these departments are with BJP ministers.
Sources said an official letter sent by personal section of Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, besides Information and Public Relations of which Zulfikar is essentially incharge, has disturbed yet again the BJP as it states he is scheduled to take Review meeting with the officers of PHE, Power, PWD, Local Bodies at district headquarters . Interestingly, in the meeting presence of concerned MLAs (mostly representing BJP) has been sought in the meeting.
However, participation of legislators is not an issue, what is being seen as matter of concern is that the concerned minister is not technically authorised to take Revi

w meeting of the departments on which he has no hold as he doesn't represent any of the departments of which he will take stock of the affairs with the administrative officers, sources said. In the letter sent by his personal section one more engagement during his visit tomorrow is minister's interaction with ration dealers and officers of FCS&CA/legal Metrology.
While this has raised no eyebrows, it is the review meeting of other departments which has created flutter within BJP this time again, earlier on several occasions when one more PDP minister Haq Khan, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs have been poking into matters of other ministries in other districts of Jammu region. Consistent visits in the past to areas like Doda, Kishtwar , Bhaderwah, Udhampur, Reasi and holding meetings of the affairs not in their forte have already been viewed with serious concern by the BJP, said the sources, though concerned party ministers have done nothing to register their reservation over such 'intrusion' attempts. What will emerge from tomorrow's meeting remains to be seen, but for now it is being seen by BJP as attempt to create trouble in Jammu areas and constituencies, besides the departments which are not in their control.
