NCC, KCCC register win

JAMMU, Sept 19: National Cricket Club & Karam Chand Cricket Club registered emphatic win against their rivals and entered in the final stage of ongoing "state cricket academy T20 Championship" which is being played at MA Stadium Ground here today.
The Cricket tournament for the young Cricketers in which 24 teams from Jammu and are participating is being organized by J&K Sports Council.
It is an initiative of the state cricket academy to provide platform to the young cricketers of the state with the objective to explore the hidden among the youths, informed by Rajesh Gill (former Ranji Player) Member Sports Council Jammu and coordinator of the tournament.
In todays' post matches functions, Former Ranji Players Ashwani Gupta, Sandeep Singh, Jagtar Singh, Rajesh Gill member Jammu Sports Council & Coordinator of the event presented the man of the matches awards to the players.
Earlier in the first match NCC defeated KC Sports Club by 6 wickets.
Batting first, KC Sports Club scored 162 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
Ateev Saini top scored with 91 runs, Abhishant Bakshi 37 and Atul made 22 runs.
From Bowling Side, Rakesh took 2 wickets while Tanmay and Sahil took 1 wicket each .
In reply NCC chased the target in 19.2 overs for the loss of 5 wickets thus won the match by 5 wickets. Munish Dogra, Samad and Gokul were the main batsmen with 64,57 and 20 runs.
From bowling side, Abhishant,Abid,Shubam took 1 wicket each . Munish dogra declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs.500/-.
In another match KCCC defeated Jammu Cricket Club by 40 runs.
Batting first, KCCC scored 167 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Surainsh Raina, Bandeep Singh and Shabum Khajuria were the main scorers with 82,39 and 20 runs .
From Bowling Side, Paras took 3 wickets while Yudhveer & Deepak Dogra took 1 wicket each.
In reply JCC could not chased the target in 20 overs and made 127 runs for the loss of 8 wickets thus lost the match by 40 runs. Shabum Pundeer was the main scorer with 33 runs while Surya and Vishwajeet contributed 21 and 20 runs .
From bowling side, Manik took 4 wickets, Bandeep & Ankush took 2 wickets while Akash took 1 wicket . Suransh Raina declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs.500/-
The matches was officiated by Sudhir Singh, Saleem ur rehman, Amit Gupta,Sadiq Hussain, Madan Mohan,Sandeep , Vinod .RP singh conducted the proceedings of the post match functions.
