Seminar on 'Water Pollution Causes and Control' held

Ramban, Sept 19: On the consecutively fifth day of 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' a seminar on "Water Pollution Causes and Control" was organized by Government Higher Secondary School, here today.
On the occasion principal of the school Parshotam Kumar was the chief guest whereas Raj Singh Raju F/O NCC was also present.
During the programme around 12 students of NCC presented their views on the topic.
The topic was chosen by students themselves on the spot and two senior students acted as judges. Zoha clinched first position, Asif 2nd and Dhriti 3rd. NCC senior cadet Deepak Singh got special prize for his excellent presentation.
After seminar 52 NCC cadets visited Bhatiaree Mohalla, and cleaned the area.
The cadets requested people to use dust bins, avoid polythene bags and co- operate with Municipal Authorities in order to fulfil the mission of clean India as desired by Prime Minister Narinder Modi.
