Hindi Pakhwada celebration concludes

Jammu, Sept 19: September 14, 1949, was when Hindi was adopted as the official language of the Constituent Assembly and with an aim to rekindle the love for India's official language among students, Nav Adarsh Hr. Sec. School Kathua culminated the celebration of 'Hindi Pakhwada' on Tuesday. An Inter-House Symposium competition was organised to mark the day. The topic was "Vartman Samay Me Hindi Ka Badlta Svaroop".
Sardar Khan, President School Management Committee was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Director Nav Adarsh, Gandharb Singh Katal Presided Over the event.
8 participants from 4 houses participated in the competition. As part of observing 'Hindi Divas' and to show their appreciation towards the national language students spoke on the importance of the language in the contemporary society.
3rd position was shared by Khushboo Mehra and Neha Choudhary of Brain Toddlers and Marvellous Minds house respectively. Shivalika Verma from Mystical Nimbles clinched the 2nd spot while Sukriti Sharma from Marvellous Minds stood 1st in the competition.
Sardar Khan in his speech tried to spread the message "Hindi hamaari shaan hai, desh ka abhimaan hai." He emphasized that we should be proud of our national language & should learn to speak in public domain without any hesitation. He also appreciated the continuous efforts of the school for regularly organising such activities for the students.
Gandharb Singh Katal speaking on the occasion gave an insight and importance of Hindi Dohas in our daily life and urged everyone to feel proud of our National Language Hindi. Language and culture of any country play an important role in making people-to connect with the people & helps in making a strong nation.
He added that the school management is committed for all-round development of the students and for this such co-curricular activities will be regularly celebrated in the future also as according to the academic calendar of the school.
