Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 19: Jammu, Sep 19: Making a mockery of the much hyped transfer policy, especially in Jammu and Kashmir, an influential Inspector has reportedly managed to retrieve his posting back in Jammu district within six months of his transfer.
According to sources, the Inspector was transferred outside the Jammu district some six months back in March this year, but within six months the influential inspector returned with a "big bang" showing thumbs down to the seniors.
The "influential inspector" has been the Station House Officer (SHO) of Gandhi Nagar Police Station twice.
"The Inspector is highly unpopular especially in accommodating wrongs of the politicians. He was transferred outside Jammu district in March this year by the seniors, but owing to his political clout, he managed to get back," said sources, adding that the inspector has served in almost all the police stations of Jammu district and again he managed to retrieve his posting back in Jammu.
"The Range of the said inspector was changed in March this year and was accordingly relieved," said sources adding that including the said Inspector, ranges of 36 other Inspectors were also changed.
Sources further maintained that the said influential inspector after managing his transfer in Jammu district is now eyeing a police station in border belt under the jurisdiction on SP Headquarters where he has already served earlier.
