Foul smell emanates from the chocked drain and even some Dhaba owners have been running their business along this drain.
"Time and again Union government as well as state government officials as well as politicians have been making tall claims of maintaining cleanliness in and around their surroundings but none of the urban agencies bothers about the drains", Ranjeet Singh, who runs a shop at Satwari chowk said.

"There is no construction work going on in the area and the department has left the drain open", another resident said, adding that government officials had also observed Swatchta Pakhwara and also celebrated the Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan anniversary on October 2, but on that day also, the condition of drain was same.
