BJP coins new slogan to woo minorities
11/21/2017 10:53:11 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 21: Disappointed with the failure of State BJP leadership in further expanding the party base in Jammu and Kashmir despite being in power in the State and all possible support of the Central Government, the party high command has planned a new strategy of roping in social organizations for making inroads in the Muslim belts and sections. After a series of high level meetings of the BJP top brass and Sangh Parivar, a comprehensive strategy in this regard has been given shape for implementation of the same at ground level with special focus on unattended areas and communities, particularly Muslims.
According to the sources in BJP circles, "Allah-Ho-Akbar, BJP Zindabad" is going to be new slogan of the party in Muslim belts, especially in Kashmir Valley, where the saffron brigade has virtually zero presence at ground level.
Unlike its all time favourite slogans like `Bharat Mata Ki Jai', `Vande Matram' etc, sources said that the party has asked its cadre to go among Muslims with only saying `Allah-Ho Akbar, BJP Zindabad' for initiating interaction with the community and then politely seek to allay apprehensions about the party among majority community of the State, sources explained.
In this regard, help of social organization will be sought to arrange meetings with the Muslim community members and then explaining them the propaganda of other parties, which is allegedly responsible for the misunderstanding towards BJP.
Explaining that the BJP has finally realized the fact that without winning hearts of the majority community in J&K, it is no possible to emerge as single largest party in the State, a top functionary disclosed that the new strategy is in place and all set to be vigorously pursued for its implementation at ground level after the Gujarat Assembly elections.
