11/22/2017 10:35:17 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 22: After accumulating huge money in the shape of commission in his previous position in one of the associated Government Hospitals in Jammu, the Doctor famous for his mal practices got again top position as Medical Superintendent in prime hospital by using his political influence.
It has been learnt that the said Medical Superintendent was profusely indulged in the corrupt malpractices by making embezzlement of the funds, he also set the commission base trends in the hospital and never assigned any work without a fixed commission.
Sources informed that in his previous posting, he was also held accused of exploiting hospital funds by giving various works to private players in violation of set guidelines envisaged in the book of law. "The most infamous act of the corruption which was revealed by a inspection team from Centre, which found that the MS had got done printing works of worth crores from the private players in lieu of huge commission on exorbitant rates. As a matter fact the printing work would have been done from the Government printing press (Ranbir Printing Press) for which purpose the press was established but the MS ignored general guidelines and allotted the work to his favorites private player," they alleged.
They further said that when inspecting team was scrutinizing the records, it clearly found that huge embezzlement of Centre funds as well as State's fund was done the said MS in the associated hospital.
But the MS was so shrewd that he used his political contacts to hush up the matter and remained continued on his position and continued to do mal practices with impunity, they said. "After enjoying the position for several years at the same place, he kept his proximity with previous Medical Education Minister to incumbent Health Minister and again got prime post at Prime Hospital," they said. They further said that in another incident of his mal practice the said MS allotted the cleaning job of wards toilets to Sulabh International Organization on contract basis in lieu of commission and deprived the hundreds of safaikaramcharies from the work who were engaged for the cleaning since years.
