J&K State Karate Championship concludes

Jammu, Dec 10: The three day Jammu and Kashmir Karate Championship organized by Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu & Kashmir (AKAJK) concluded here today, in which over 700 participants from different districts participated.
Chering Dorjey, Minister for co-operatives & Ladakh Affairs was the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony/ medal distribution function. Vinod Kumar, Director Gulistan Channel and Maneesh Sharma, Vice-President JAKFED were the guests of honours.
The tournament was conducted as per the rules and regulations of WKF/ KAI and under the technical supervision of Sunil Rathee from, at present AKF Judge, seven times National gold medalist, participated in sixteenth Asian Games held in China, South Asian Gold medalist, participated in World Championship twice and thrice in Asian championship.
