Border Welfare Association organizes peace march

Jammu, Jan 21: Today on 21 the Border Welfare Association organized a peace march outside the Press Club Jammu on Sunday and demanded Rs. 25-25 lakh rupees for the families of the martyrs killed in Pakistan firing and government servants for a member of the family. Association peace bearer Manjeet Singh, Rakesh Choudhary, Raj Chaudhary, Ashwani kumar Bhatti, Arvinder Singh, Ravi Singh, Rajinder Singh, Umesh Singh, Gaurav Chaudhary and others were present in the March peace of the Chairman of the Association Avinash Choudhary. During peace march, the office-bearers of the association prayed for the peace of the martyrs and civilians in the firing and wished to be wounded soon. The post office-bearers demanded the State Government to give the border people 5 5 marlas plot alot at safe places and reservation for youth in Border Government jobs and professional courses. Association chairman Avinash Choudhary said that the state government has announced a loan of Rs 5 lakh to the people who have been killed in Golwari, but our demand is to increase the compensation amount to Rs 25 lakh and a family member be given government job. The border people have always been victims of Pakistan's firing and losses of locals and gardener. The government should take appropriate measures to compensate the loss and relieve the border effected people. The BJP had promised to build and construct residential plots in the last elections, but the government could not fulfill the promise. The central government is claiming Rs 400 crores for the Border people but when will it be given Amaliaama?
