Bhallessa residents demand Hill district, delinking from ADC Bhaderwah

Jammu, Jan 21: The residents of Tehsil Gandoh, Tehsil Chilly Pingal and Tehsil Kahara has demanded hill District Status to these tehsils. A meeting in this regard was organised by a Non-Governmental Organ-isation-Bhalessa Heritage Society here at Jammu today. The meeting was attended by large number of prominent citizens, students, and intellectuals of the area. The speakers retaliated the demanded including immediate delinking from ADC jurisdiction of Bhaderwah that is more than 115 kms from these tehsils.
However, the residents have listed the demands including hill district and separate Assembly constituency for these tehsils as perennial demands. Immediate construction of Kakoti-Kota-Bonencha-Gingota road. Upgradation of high school Soti into higher secondary school, Separate Offices of Divisional Forest Office, Social Forestry, and other allied departments, Creation of full-fledged Government Polytechnic College at Chilly Pingal, Gandoh and kahara, Immediate introduction of all disciplines/ Streams/ Subjects in Government Degree College Kilhotran, thereby creation of separate posts of Assistant Professors in college. Opening of Kandra Vidyalaya and Navoda vidayalayas for these areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Sadaket Malik President, Bhalessa Heritage society said that we are living in a digital age and apart from dozons of protests at different levels our demand for delinking from Bhaderwah has not been conceded by the government yet. Besides this all the speakers said that till these areas get district status, the ADC jurisdiction should be revived and put with Doda.
The sub division Bhalessa need to be upgraded and the post of Additional Deputy Commissioner be created to provide solace to the people that will be better for administrative convenience for these inaccessible areas. In order to provide solace to these inaccessible areas of all these tehsils, a separate District is also an urgent need of the hour. The speakers who spoke include Sadaket Malik, Rakesh Thakur, Bashir Ahmed, Abdul Kareem Malik, Satish Kumar, Ahkhter Mir, P k Bhagat, Ranjeet Singh, Imtiaz wani, Rizwan, Muzafar, Shiv kumar, Waseem Ahmed, Nasir Mir, K P S Rajput, Mukesh Kumar, and many others.
