JAMMU, May 23: The refugees from Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) on Wednesday held strong protest against the State Government for making procedure very tough for the refugee families for providing relief amount under Prime Minister's package. A large number of refugee families led by Capt (Retd) Yudhvir Singh Chib and Sakandya Devi under the banner of PoJK DPs Front-1947, 65, 71 assembled at Exhibition Ground near Press Club here on Wednesday and started protest. After holding protest, they started march towards Dogra Chowk which was foiled by police. Addressing large gathering, Capt Chib alleged that government departments don't have updated record of the DP families in their Provincial / District level Record Rooms, but they are asking to the people to produce such old record and even original papers. He warned the State Govt to simplify the procedure or get ready to face a united and tough agitation from the refugees. Others who participated the rally were J.P Sharma, R.P Singh, Kulbir Singh Chib, Ch. Sukhjinder Singh, Capt Sudesh Chib, Kehar Singh, Raj Kumar Verma, Babloo, Bodh Raj, Pritma Kumari, Gagan Singh, Pawan Singh Salathia, Capt Behari Singh, Tirath Singh, Tara Singh, Bimla Devi, Rani Devi, Krishan Singh, Subash Singh Chib, Kashmir Singh and Ashwani Kumar.
