DPS organises lecture on Drug Menace

Udhampur, Aug 30: Delhi Public School, Udhampur today organised a lecture on 'Drug Menace'.
SSP Udhampur, Rayees Bhat was resource person of the lecture, addressing the audience motivated the young to fight against this menace. A movie on the consequences of the Drug abuse was shown to the kids. Infact help lines numbers were also given to the students.
The other dignitaries who were present on the occasion were Additional SP Tabassum, DYSP Head Quarters K.Handa, PRO Vice Chairman DPS Udhampur Dr. J.C Gupta and Principal Dr. Kunal Anand. The dignitaries gave their personal number to the students in case if they see youngsters involved in this abuse then they must report on the given numbers.
The PVC DPS Udhampur Dr. J.C Gupta stated that the guest lecturers like these are real eye openers for the kids. The Problem of drug abuse is a social evil that has embedded its grip on the current youth, hence it is the duty of the school, parents and the society to enlighten and brighten these kids in regard to this menace.
