Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 3: An influential Sub-Inspector of police, who earlier also held her choicest posting in her home district, has yet again managed her choicest posting with the blessing of a senior official posted in New Delhi who is believed to be her new 'godfather' in the police department.
According to sources, the said SI earlier, with the blessing of the then Director General of Police (DGP) with whom she went out of country, had managed her posting in her hometown as a Station House officer (SHO).
"The said SI managed her posting in her hometown with the blessing of the then top cop with whom she went out of the country", said sources, adding that the top cop had posted him as SHO in her hometown. Sources further claimed that the SI in question once again managed change of her district as per her own convenience in Jammu-Kathua-Samba Range with the blessing of her new 'godfather' in the department. If sources are to be believed, the SI approached a senior official in Delhi and requested him to induct her in his own lobby. Later on, the official communicated to the state officials for her posting in a particular district.
"After the posting of the SI in desirable district, pressure would mount on senior officer for adjusting her as SHO as per her wishes", claimed sources.
