SAKS condemns damaging of Gen Zorawar's sword

Jammu, Sept 6: Dismantling of Swords of Statue of General Zorawar Singh near Railway Station Jammu by anti social elements viewed seriously. Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha J&K appealed State Government to install CCTV Camera's around the Statue sites to curve such tendencies by taking drastic action against anti social elements.
The Executive Committee Members of Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha J&K held a meeting at Raj Tilak Bhawan Purani Mandi Jammu under the Chairmanship of Kr. Narayan Singh President of the Sabha to deliberate on the growing incidence of dismantling of swords of statues of Rajput warriors viz. General Zorawar Singh installed near Railway Station Jammu and Mian Dido at Ambphalla Jammu. Pertinent to mention here that the Sword of Mian Dido was dismantled twice by Anti Social elements and each time, the Sword of Mian Dido was got repaired and restored to its original position by Rajput Sabha J&K. The matter in this regard was also reported to Police Station concerned Jammu for lodging F.I.R and taking suitable action against anti-social elements but, still no action has been initiated by the Government.
This time, the Sword of Statue of General Zorawar Singh near Railway Station was dismantled by Anti Social elements and the People of the area , brought the matter to the notice of (Rajput Sabha J&K).
The Sword of General Zorawar Singh was got repaired to restore its original position by the Rajput Sabha.
