9/13/2018 10:47:04 PM
Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Sept 13: Despite orders from the RaJ Bhawan that attachments be revoked the office of Director School Education Jammu has been harboring many such cases who allegedly "enjoy favorable postings in the grab of attachment."
In brazenly violation of norms the Director Education Jammu has been sleeping over the attachment of atleast four teachers from Rajouri district even though the attachments have affected educational activities in the concerned schools.
Not only the teachers continue to enjoy "favorable attachment" but the concerned ZEO Sunderbani has failed to stop their salaries.
Officials said at least four teachers posted in Lower Hathal area of Sunderbani here are not working in schools.
Officials said Lovely Sharma actually posted at Govt Middle School Nahoti has been attached for one year with Director Education office Jammu.
Officials added that Swran Kumari actually posted at Government Primary School Seiya has been attached at the Zonal Education Office Jammu.
"Pratibha Jamwal is attached with the SIE Jammu whereas her actual place of posting is Government High School Barnara. And Neena Devi, whose original place of posting is Government High School Barnara is attached with Director Education office Jammu," a senior official in the Education department confirmed to Early Times.
The Sunderbani locals said the educational activities in the area are affected due to absence of teachers but that no one was listening to the pleas.
A senior official said most of the attachments are on "political influence and thus the concerned department is silent."
When contacted the concerned ZEO who is accused of facilitating the illegal attachments declined to comment on the issue and said his seniors be contacted.
Despite repeated attempts the Director Education Jammu was not available for comments.
