Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 21: National Conference backed three independent candidates led by recently joined Pyare Lal Sharma of Inderwal had reportedly find a solace in the form of the BJP for stacking the claim on seven member Thatri Municipal Committee.
As per the details available with "Early Times" out of seven wards in newly created Thatri Municipal Committee, the Congress party managed to win three seats, the BJP managed to win one seat while three seats were manage to win by NC backed candidates who are close to former rebel Congress leader Pyare Lal Sharma who apart from Congress MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori and recently joined National Conference at Jammu in front of NC Provincial President Davinder Singh Rana with the active help of former MLA Inderwal Qazi Jalal ud Din.
Sharma is the proposed NC candidate from Inderwal assembly elections having full backing of some senior party leaders in Jammu as well as in Srinagar.
As soon as the result of all seven wards of Thatri Municipality was declared communication channels opened up which finally landed the NC leader Sharma in BJP camp seeking support for the post of President Municipality for his trusted aide Mansoor Ahmed-which was successfully managed by him in the form of letter of support from the BJP.
Youth Congress leader Sharik Saroori said that the cat has finally come out of bag adding that Congress party was clear that he (Sharma) was playing into the hands of BJP and RSS with an aim to destabilize the Congress party developmental agenda.
"It is up to NC to decided what is good or what is bad for them-if he seek the support of BJP-NC should explain its position" said Sharik.
NC leaders of Kishtwar refused to comment over the issue and said that those leaders who played key role in Sharma's entry into National Conference without taking the District Kishtwar leadership on board can answer in a better way.
