He said despite lodging strong protests against the non-fulfillment of common demand of public of holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, the State Government has been failed to represent the aspirations of people of Jammu region in the forthcoming year. Pertinent to mention here that the resolution for declaration of the holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh on September 23 has already stands approved by the Legislative Council of J and K State. Kohli apprised Dr Karan Singh about the list of holidays to be observed throughout the State for year 2019 issued by the General Administration Department of J&K which clearly showed that there will be no holiday on September 23 in 2019.
