Sports event organized in Govt Boys Middle School Gorakh Nagar

JAMMU, Dec 15: Sports event was organized in Government Boys Middle School Gorakh Nagar, Bahu Fort, Jammu which was sponsored by Bharti Foundation.
Competitions of different games by the students of this school were held in different games such as Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Lemon race, 100 mtr race, Bag race. Sham Lal Basson - Carporator Ward No. 48 was Chief Guest on this occasion Madam Zarina Shiekh, Zonal Education officer Gandhi Nagar presided over the function. Leela Jamwal Chairman Gorkha Sabha and member village Education Committee, Manjit Kour - Headmistress, Ritu Bansal representative Bharti Foundation.
Arun Kumar member VEC, Latish Kumar Ward President Congress Party and School Staff were present. The school staff also helped the students by providing the sweaters, Shoes, Prizes were distributed among. The winning teams through Chief Guest, Madam Zarina Sheikh ZEO and Manjit Kour - Headmistress and other dignitaries.
While speaking on this occasion, Sham Lal Basson Corporator appreciated the sports events organized by Govt. Boys Middle School Gorakh Nagar and sponsored by Bharti Foundation. He said that such type of events is must in each school. The sports activities are equally important such as academic qualification. The student are encouraged and learn from such activities. Madam Zarina Shiekh ZEO, Head Mistress Manjit Kour and Ritu Bansal addressed the gather.
