Hails Kashmiris for participation in elections; Jammu, Ladakh find no mention
BJP president again takes Jammu, Ladakh for granted

Early Times Report
jammu, Dec 15: The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah has once again taken Jammuites as well as Ladakhis for granted as during a recent high level review meeting, only Kashmir was discussed in detail while Jammu and Ladakh region found no mention.
According to the news published in a section of media, Amit Shah had a meeting with senior party leaders including General Secretary Ram Madhav, Avinash Rai Khanna, State BJP Chief Ravinder Raina and State General Secretary (organizations Ashok Koul in New Delhi to review the affairs of Jammu and Kashmir.
Amit Shah had reportedly said, "Despite threats by the militants and separatists and boycott calls by two mainstream political parties, the people participated in large numbers in the elections for Panchayats and Municipalities, which showed their immense faith in democratic system of the country.
From the statements it is explicitly clear that the whole review meeting revolved around the Kashmir valley and its participation in elections. "The Jammuities had given maximum seats to BJP in 2014 elections and once again BJP gets huge votes in the local body elections but it is very unfortunate that Jammu finds no mention in the national meetings", an insiders said.
Earlier also the national president had openly undermine the Jammuities, when he had said that Jammuites had no option other than voting for BJP, a local politician rued, adding that though Jammuites and Ladakhis have been giving votes to BJP, that didn't mean that people could not question them for their repeated neglect of these two regions and giving priority to Kashmir.
"All the works for the development of Jammu region have been stalled and in the three years tenure of BJP in state government, they had not got completed even a single development project", a politician said, adding that whenever the higher leadership talked about the state, including in the review meetings, their major concern remained Kashmir region and Kashmiris.
"BJP tries to befool Jammuities on emotional slogans such as Hindu Chief Minister or Jammu Chief Minister. This lie got exposed recently, when they tried to install Sajjad Lone as CM candidate and earlier Mehbooba Mufti", a politician said adding that it would be their biggest mistake to take Jammu and Ladakh for granted.
The repeated neglect of Jammu as well as Ladakh region would not last long. "Member Parliament of Ladakh had already resigned from the party and definitely the Jammuites would replicate the mood of Chattisgarh, Madhya Pardesh and Rajasthan in upcoming elections if BJP did not mend their ways", an insider said.
