South Asian Grappling Champions felicitate by Grappling association in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 11: Vikram Singh Bhadwal President Grappling Association of J&K facilitated the medalist of South Asian Grappling Championship that was held in Bhutan from 3rd January to 5th January 2019.
Vikram Singh said it is a proud moment for the state that our youth have secured medals at international level. This is very overwhelming that Jammu Kashmir won 13 medals, 9 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals. It is the second time that J&K got honor to participate in South Asian Championship and in the 2019 Championship J&K came with flying colors and secured 1st position all over India.
He added that we request Governor Satyapal Malik to pay a heed towards grappling champions as they are struggling as they lack particular practice place as they have to go Kathua for the practice.
President of Sports Council J&K Vikram Singh while speaking on the occasion congratulated the whole nation and appealed governor to provide all the necessary facilities to the budding sport stars so that they will do excel. And, it was the efforts of our Team which was guided under the leadership of General Sect Gajinder Singh, Technical coaches Bhanu Partap, Akhil Gupta, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sahil and Pushp Thakur.
