JJSF protests over 'anti-India' sloganeering

Jammu, Feb 12: Students of various colleges today boycotted their classes under the banner of JJSF. They were demanding arrest of those who had allegedly raised anti-India slogans yesterday and suspension of police men involved in lathicharge.
Students of various colleges including GDC RS Pura, Govt. Polytechnic College, Jammu, GDC Samba, GDC Kathua, GGM Science College, Jammu, SPMR College of Commerce and MAM college Jammu boycotted their classes to protest against the incident where allegedly pro-pakistan and anti-India slogans were raised and thereafter the protesting students were lathicharged by police personals.
Students gathered at Shaheedi Sthal GGM Science College, where leaders of JJSF stressed upon the rustication of some students and one Professor of GGM Science College who were also involved in anti-India slogans and later they uploaded the controversial status on social media.
They also demanded that the land of GGM Science College encroached by the Aquaf to construct Mosque, Madrasa and Mufti Hostel shall be restored to the GGM Science College.
Meanwhile, S. Harjot Singh Babbar, Secy. JJSF GDC RS Pura, Neeraj Khajuria, President, Govt. Polytechnic Jammu, Subir Jamwal, President, GDC Akhnoor, boycotted their colleges to register their protest.
