Unemployment all time high under BJP Govt: Manohar
3/24/2019 10:26:22 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 24: Former Minister and President DCC Kathua, Dr Manohar lal Sharma today conducted series of public interaction meetings at villages Dramni, Harnota, Nyrali, Barota, Nabri, Thantu, Gurha, Dandiya Martiyan, Kalyal, Sarni, Bhaiyaa, Ballal and urged the voters to vote for Congress candidate Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh in upcoming parliamentary elections.
While lambasting BJP leadership, Dr Sharma said that during last 5 years unemployment has been all time high in the state and the country. He said BJP government has failed to provide 2 crore jobs annually that they had promised in their election manifestos and now they are telling youth to sell pakodas to hide their failures and promises. He further said that it is duty of government to provide employment opportunities to the youth but the present government is dividing the country and youth on communal lines. Dr Sharma also asked the reason why there has been no job advertisement for teachers post in Kathua district during last 4 years. Same has been the case in context of SPO recruitment. Closure of RET scheme has further added to woes and despite directions from Court no regularization of RETs has taken place, adding to this more 62000 daily wagers who have completed more than 8 years in service are waiting for their regularization and pending wages in various departments such as PDD, PWD, Irrigation, Forest, Fisheries and more. Manohar said before elections BJP used to talk about Ek Nishan, Ek Vidhaan but after coming to power BJP leaders moved with 2 flags on their vehicle thus making open mockery of their poll promise.
Sharma said many project started by previous congress government has come to standstill and are waiting to meet their finish dates due to callous and non-serious attitude of BJP government. Also no new project has been started under BJP government.
Also present on the occasion were Anirudh Khajuira (NSUI District President Kathua), Sarpanchs Karan Singh, Neelam Kumari, Ramesh Sapolia, Joginder Kumar, Puran Chand, Ramesh Kumar and others.
