One day national seminar held at GDC Udhampur

udhampur, Mar 26: A one day national seminar on the topic on Technology Tradition, Heritage & Culture "Concoction for Consciousness-Progression, identity formation subjectivities, was organized by Government Degree College Udhampur.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. R.P Tandon, an eminent educationist and Head Department of Physic and Astrophysics, University of Delhi said,"Everyone born after 2010 is going to live for more than hundred years, we are going to witness unimaginable changes in science when human beings will not be allowed to drive cars on highways."
Elaborating he said that Science is going to be magic and in near future everything is being going to become possible. While delivering his keynote address, Prof. R.P Tandon said that non-biological intelligence will become more capable than biological intelligence. He also warned that this will present a dreadful scenario.
Prof. R. P Tandon complimented the college and administration for taking initiative for organizing this National event. Other prominent speakers in the inaugural session included Prof. Ashok Sharma, Professor and Chairmen Department of Material Science and Nano Technology, DCR University of Science and Technology Sonipat, Prof. Parkash Garhwal, National Coordinator NSS, University of Indore, Dr. Garima Gupta, Dr. Shashi Pathania, Dr. Vishav Raksha, NSS Coordinator, Jammu University.
Earlier the function commence with lighting of the lamp which was followed by melodious Mata's Bhajan by Dansali Bhandhu, the sons of legendry Bhent Singer Ghulam Mohd. Dansalia, which represented the local culture and communal harmony.
This was followed by welcome address by the Principal of the College Prof(Dr). Nutan Kumar Resutra, who extended a very warm welcome to all the guests present in the Seminar.
Dr. Rippy Bawa and Dr. Kamaldeeep Kaur were the organizing secretaries of the Seminar. Other faculty members present on the occasion were Dr. Udhey Bhanu, HoD Mathematics, Dr. Bhavnaish Chand, HoD Physics, Prof. B.L Thaur, HoD Education, Prof. Romesh Kumar Atri, HoD Botany, Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, Associate Professor Physics, Dr. Anil Khajuria, HoD Zoology, Dr. Ved Kumar, HoD Chemistry, Prof. Naresh Sharma, HoD English, Dr. Vipul Chalotra, HoD Commerce.
