CEO Kishtwar engages 13 teachers for data punching

Jammu, May 20: The poor infrastructure and shortage of staff in Government run schools in Kishtwar District on one hand has generated lot of anger among the people in far flung areas and on the other hand , Chief Education Officer engaged 13 school teachers for punching data of UDISE under Samagra Shiksha.
As per the details available with "Early Times", CEO vide order No. CEO/K/2019/17513-544 Dated 13-05-2019 ordering the engagement of 14 teachers, one junior Assistant and a programmer for the punching job.
"In order to submit the 100% error free UDISE + data for the year 2018-19 on war footing, the following technical officials/DEOs of this District are hereby assigned the job of monitoring of UDISE+ 100% error free data for the year 2018-19 and also will do not do any other assignment till the completion of UDISE+ data" read the order of CEO Kishtwar. Those who assigned the job and technical staff include Sadia Farzana (Programmer) and Joginder Singh (DEO), both posted in CEO Office Kishtwar.
Moreover CEO also directed 14 other employees, mostly teachers to report at Zonal Headquater of their respective zone along with their laptops/Systems for punching of 100% error free UDISE+ Data and to support the above mentioned two designated officials at District level.
Those engaged for the punching of data include Ajay Kumar, Teacher MS Nicha, Mohammad Hafeez, Teacher HS Singpora, both in Inderwal Education Zone of Kishtwar District, Sanjeev Kumar, Teacher MS Muthal Padder, Mohammad Rafi, Junior Assistant ZEO Office Padder of Padder Education Zone, Ghulam Mohammad, Teacher HSS Warwan, Bashir Ahmed Raina, Teacher HS Inshan, both in Warwan Education Zone, Khaliq Hussain, Teacher MS Dobipura, Subash Chander, Teacher UPS Kwar both in Nagsini Education Zone, Sandeep Kumar, Teacher HSS Shirodh, Narinder Kumar, Teacher HSS Badhat both in Drabshalla Education Zone, Bilal Mustafa Malik, Teacher UPS Dehrie, Subash Chander, Teacher MS Ekhala both in Marwah Zone, Sapna Thakur and Ruksana Banoo, both DEO in Kishtwar Zonal Office.
The assigning of duty to the teachers at the time when newly elected Panches and Sarpanches has raised voice against the lack of infrastructure and shortage of staff in the schools has further grown anger and resentment against the education department and called upon the authorities to relieve all the teachers, masters and lecturers if any attached in government offices or in the office of CEO Kishtwar and in various education zones of Kishtwar District.
