Kishtwar, Oct 9: In a major initiative, the school education department during two days camp held at Government Higher Secondary School Kishtwar distributed free appliances among 84 children’s with special needs.
As per the details available with Early Times, the Distribution and fitment camp was organised by the education department under the supervision of Chief Education Officer Kishtwar under Inclusive Education Component of Samagora Shiksha.
In the two days camp, 84 children with special needs were provided with different types of assistive devices such as wheel chairs, CP Chairs, MSIED Kits, hearing aids, elbow clutches, daisy players, rollators and callipers
On this occasion, the children with special needs and escorts were informed about various other schemes for them under Samagra Shiksha.
The CWSN from Kishtwar, Nagsini, Inderwal, Drabshalla, Padder and Marwah zone were provided the assistive devices who were earlier identified by the experts from ALIMCO, Mohali Punjab.
