Ousted PDP leader to go abroad
10/14/2019 10:53:53 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 14: A senior politician who was shown the door by the Peoples Democratic Party after his ouster from the ministry in the previous PDP led government is planning to go abroad "for a change and international lobbying."
Sources said the former PDP leader who had finally resigned from the party after having been "humiliated" has told his friends in Mumbai that he "plans to go abroad as things are not that good for him back home."
Sources said the former PDP leader and economist, who had also been "mentoring" an IAS-officer turned politician till a few months ago, is finding little scope in Kashmir.
Sources said the politician has told his close aides that he has "no constituency in Kashmir" as of now and that till situation becomes conducive he should "lobby at international level."
The former PDP leader is infamous for allegedly changing colors.
He is accused of having started his career by being the supporter of the banned Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front in the 1990s.
This was even endorsed by JKLF chief Mohammad Yasin Malik in 2015 in a press statement when he told the media that the politician under question would often try to appease him and would even come in autorickshaw to meet him.
"Before becoming economist he would write anti-national articles under ghost names in Kashmir and the same can be established through a prove even now," said an analyst in know of the matter.
After the decline of militancy and separatist sentiment after 1990s, sources said, the said person had tried to get closer to National Conference but failed.
He had subsequently managed to get space in the Peoples Democratic Party by behaving like an "assistant" of senior PDP leader from north Kashmir.
"This man` can go to any extent to meet his goals. To get close to PDP leadership he would even carry briefcase of a then PDP leader. However after getting close to the Muftis he had started badmouthing against the same PDP leader who had actually introduced him in the party," said a senior politician in the know of the matter.
After BJP became dominant in Jammu and Kashmir politics, the said politician had got close to the right wing party. "And now finding things chaotic, he is planning to go abroad for some international lobbying," said the insiders close to the politician.
Despite repeated attempts the said politician couldn't be contacted for comments.
