Jammu, Nov 11: Bharatiya Janata Party, State General Secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul chaired a meeting of State Office Bearers and District Presidents of BJP's Mahila Morcha led by its State President Rajni Sethi.
Former Morcha State President & former Minister Priya Sethi, Morcha State General Secretaries Sanjita Gupta, Shailja Gupta & Updesh Andotra, along with other senior Morcha leaders were also present in the meeting.
Ashok Kaul, while addressing the Morcha leaders, vehemently appreciated the efforts of Mahila Morcha activists during recently concluded elections. He said that every single Mahila Morcha activist has worked tirelessly to contribute in the party's accomplishment. He said that the Morcha has achieved success in mobilizing the women folk but added that their job is not over yet. He prompted Morcha activists to take example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his unremitting selfless efforts for the development of Nation.
A number of Mahila Morcha State Office Bearers shared their experiences and also discussed various organizational issues with the top party leadership.
State President Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi thanked the BJP leadership for giving true representation to women folk in the organizational as well administrational levels. She said that many important women issues have been resolved under the leadership of Modi government and thus this period can be easily termed as golden era in modern times for women.
Sethi, assured the Organizational General Secretary that the Mahila Morcha will also leave no stone unturned for extending the base of the party with in all the sections of the society. She also thanked all the Morcha leaders for their active participation in the meeting.
Updesh Andotra conducted the meeting proceedings.
Prominent among those who were present during the meeting include State Vice-Presidents Monika Khosla, Neena Gupta, Anu Gupta, Anju Dogra, Chand Bhagat, Neelam Nargotra and Kamla Gupta.
