Can't allow Pak to bleed us anymore
2/11/2020 10:30:09 PM
Pakistan Army violated ceasefire thrice in Poonch sector along Line of Control last week. In the truce violations a soldier attained martyrdom, while five others sustained injuries. Few residential houses were also damaged in Pakistan shelling.
Pakistan Army violating ceasefire along the LoC has become a routine. Indian Army has been giving a befitting reply but the people are demanding more stern and a punitive action against the neighbouring country. The consensus which is building across India is that we cannot allow Pakistan to bleed us anymore and we can't keep on losing our people, including soldiers and civilians. Neither can we allow the border residents to suffer.
The people sitting across the Line of Control seem to be under the impression that they can keep on indulging in truce violations and backstabbing without any fear of retaliation from the Indian side. Voices across the country are becoming shriller to dispel this notion. It seems that the time has come to cross the Line of Control and destroy the terror infrastructure and push the Pakistan army on the back foot.
Pakistan till date has been given many opportunities to mend its ways but it seems least interested in changing its attitude and policy. Troops along the LoC and the International Border are in full state of preparedness and Indian Army is waiting for the orders to trample the LoC to retrieve Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) from the illegal control of Pakistan. Once the PoK is retrieved it will end the ceasefire violations and terrorist training camps.
Pakistan Army seems to have forgotten that it had to surrender before the Indian Army in 1971 and had to vacate East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. Pakistan Army needs to be reminded of the defeats it faced in the wars which it fought with Indian Army after 1947. It has been proven beyond doubt that Pakistan Army cannot match the skills of the Indian Army and it's not capable of fighting a conventional war.
Resorting to shelling along the LoC and targeting civilian areas has become a norm for the Pak army. One wonders what's stopping out country's leadership from taking a decisive action against Pakistan. People are asking why we need to wait? How many more soldiers should we lose?
Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, recently stated that Pakistan indulged in 3479 truce violations in 2019, mostly to facilitate the infiltration of terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir. Figures reveal that Pakistan is in no mood to give up. It needs to be tamed once for all.
