The training programme was monitored by Director NCERT, Prof H. Sanapaty who himself participated in the sessions and interacted with the trainees. Besides, senior faculty members from NCERT took interactive sessions throughout the week long programme.

Dr. Arun Manhas, State Project Director Samagra Shiksha, while addressing the trainees, told that teacher training is an integral and most significant part of the education system without which quality learning cannot be attained. In service teachers need to be imparted trainings on updated subjective developments and modern pedagogical skills. Dr. Manhas told that Samagra Shiksha has been organizing various training and orientation programmes for teachers and Educational Administrators to attain quality learning levels and improve the score of PGI (Performance Grading Indices) indicators at par with national levels. He advised the trainees to efficiently impart the acquired knowledge to the teachers in their respective districts and to keep a track of the classroom transformations.
