Don’t poke your nose in our internal affairs, India’s clear message
Deportation of pro-Pak British MP
2/18/2020 11:30:47 PM

JAMMU, Feb 18: The Ministry of Home Affairs deporting a pro-Pakistan, British Parliamentarian, Debbie Abraham, is a clear message to the international community that the foreign policy of India has changed and anyone, who will try to poke his or her nose into the internal affairs of India is not welcome here anymore.
British Labour Party MP, Debbie Abraham—who chairs the All Party Parliamentary Group on Kashmir— has been critical about the decision of the Government of India to withdraw J&K’s special status.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said that there has been a significant shift in the Government of India’s policy vis-a-vis such people who want to interfere in the matters which don’t fall in their domain. “Since August 5 last year, when the GoI announced its decision to reorganize J&K, Debbie Abraham and her group have toed the line of Pakistan and have acted as the spokespersons of Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan,” the analyst added.
He said that the MHA by cancelling Abraham’s visa has made it clear to the world that now India is all about Indian’s first and third party intervention is not acceptable. “There were reports that Abraham after reaching Delhi had plans to visit Kashmir. But timely action by the MHA prevented her from even entering New Delhi.”
An observer said, “One fails to understand why these British Parliamentarians are so concerned about what is happening in other parts of the world? They should concentrate on the problems which their own country is facing.
Before giving sermons to the GoI these parliamentarians should tell Pakistan to stop exporting terror and behave like a responsible country. These leaders supporting a rogue country like Pakistan depicts that they want conflicts to remain alive and terrorism to flourish.”
He said, “Since the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the reins of the country he has driven home a point that India is not a weak country.
He has made it clear that the so-called watchdogs are irrelevant as the Indian leadership knows what it has to do.”
The observer said that Debbie Abraham’s deportation is a clear message to all the so-called pressure groups within and outside the country that no one will be allowed to cross the line. “Helmsmen in India know what they have to do and how they have to solve the problems. We don’t need advises and suggestions from outsiders,” he added.
