Srinagar, July 11, Srinagar: About a dozen unemployed Dental Surgeons assembled in Press Colony Srinagar on Saturday and demanded their recruitment into government service.
A dozen of the unemployed Dental Surgeons appeared in the Press colony on Saturday noon and raised slogans, in demand of recruiting them into the government service.
One of the protestors said, “Some of us have completed our degree ten to twelve years ago, but to date, they have not been provided the employment.”
He said, “Our education has gone in vain and we are worst than other unemployed youth.”
Another protesting surgeon said, “Many of us have crossed the age bar, in pursuit of the job, but so far the government has never thought about our plight, despite us being trained in a profession, for which one has to undergo a tough competition to qualify for it.”
The protestors said that they are going through immense kind of joblessness and are suffering mentally for want of a job.
They requested the government to come out with a policy for professionally trained jobless dental surgeons at the earliest and thus help them to support their families and move ahead in life.
