BHADERWAH, Sept 21: A meeting of civil society members and public representatives was today held here under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Rakesh Kumar to discuss Community level measures for control of Covid pandemic in the backdrop of sudden spike in the cases. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer, Bahderwah Development Authority (BDA), Rajinder Khajuria, Tehsildar, Zeeshan Tahir, Executive Officer, Municipal Committee (MC) Bhadarwah, Ashraf Zargar, BMO Dr. Hameed Zargar, Nodal Officer Covid-19, Fayaz Mehta, representatives (ward members) of all wards of the Municipal Committee, Sarpanchs, President Beopar Mandal, members of civil society and representatives of various political parties. The ADC in his sought the cooperation of the participants in the Covid Control measures of the administration by advising the people to go for voluntary testing and staying indoors, particularly in the areas declared as containment zones.
The ADC said that testing is imperative to detect the positive cases for breaking the transmission chain. He appealed the people to cooperate with the health teams coming for conducting the tests.
The participants assured the administration of their full cooperation.
