NIA questions CAPD employee, scrutinizes his bank account
Probe into Delhi High Court blast

Kishtwar May 29: Three member National Investigating Agency probing last year's Delhi High Court blast case once again reached Kishtwar yesterday to scrutinize the bank accounts of an employee of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Department.
According to reports, NIA team headed by Inspector Vajpaee arrived in Kishtwar yesterday and questioned Pervaiz Ahmed son of Mohammad Sultan resident of Dachhan Kishtwar working as salesman in CAPD department.
Reports said that after questioning Pervaiz Ahmed over his alleged link with HM militants involved in Delhi High Court blast case, the NIA team also visited the Kishtwar branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank and scrutinized his bank account.
Reports said that NIA action comes in wake of reports accusing Pervaiz Ahmed of providing food and shelter to the HM militants presently on run in Marwah forests of Kishtwar district.
The reports further said that by scrutinizing the bank accounts, NIA wants to check his role in hawala transactions.

The police confirmed questioning of Parvaiz and scrutiny of his bank account by the NIA. The inquiry of the case involving CAPD employee was entrusted to Additional SP Kishtwar Kulbir Singh.
It is worth mentioning that 8 months since the blast took place outside Gate No: 4 and 5 of Delhi High Court killing 16 people and causing injury to 80 others, NIA and Kishtwar police investigating the case after email claiming the responsibility of the blast tracks to a local cyber café in Kishtwar has so far failed to arrest the 3 HM militants Amir Kamal, Chota Hafiz and Junaid Akram Malik. NIA has already announced an award of Rs. 10 lakh each on the three HM militants, while the two other youths from Kishtwar Dr. Waseem Akram Malik and Amir Abbas Dev are presently in Tihar jail for their alleged involvement in the blast.
