| Over 10000 devotees pay obeisance at Chamunda Mata Sarwa Dhar | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, July 12: The Chari Mubarak Yatra of Chamunda Mata Sarwa Dhar situated in Pogal Parishtan area in tehsil Banihal of the Ramban district which commenced on July 9, 2012 from Bagh-e- Bahu,Jammu concluded the other day. The yatries during first leg of the yatra programme reached at village Senabathi for halt. This place is connected with road but there after the devotees have to proceed further covering about 10 kms long very tough journey to reach Chamunda Mata temple Sarwa Dhar. The Charri Mubarak was organized by the Chamunda Mata Management Committee Sarwa Dhar headed by Jaswant Singh Katoch along with other members including Rajiv Charak from Bag-e-Bahu temple Jammu, President of the Sanatan Dharam Sabha Ramban, Mr.Jaswant Singh Katoch. Over 10,000 devotees hailing from Ramban, Banihal, Doda Bhaderwah, Udhampur and Jammu paid obeisance at the shrine. Elaborate security and other arrangements were made by the district administration Ramban. |
