Early Times Report
Jammu, July 17: The man under cloud Mohammed Aslam Goni expressed surprise over the leakage of report to the press and said that it is an aim to malign my image and scuttle the probe initiated by police.
Talking to Early Times, Goni said "I do not know what report they have prepared and where they have submitted it." He added "If what you are saying is content of the report, I would fight it in the court of law. It is an attack on my person by a fringe group whose own past is murky. I have absolutely no knowledge about this report. And how can you accuse a person without listening to his version. They are biased and represent a particular group in JKCA."
He maintained that being over-ambitious; they have no regard even for the law of land. "Who are these people? These people have never talked to me. This matter is sub-judice. They belong to one particular group and cannot claim sanity because I know what they have done as members of JKCA. Let the police probe be over. All would get to know the reality," added Goni. He said that it was I who lodged the FIR and have you seen accused going to police against his own person.
He reiterated that his name for the post of chairman was proposed by none other than Sham Swaroop Kalsotra in the year 2009 and by Manzoor Wazir in the election held in the month of June, 2011.
