BAJ launches 'plantation drive in Court Complex

Jammu, Aug 4: Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) launched a Plantation-Drive in the Court Complex, Janipur Jammu. The Chief Justice, High Court of J&K M.M.Kumar along with Justice J.P.Singh and Justice Hasnain Massodi initiated the plantation drive. Principal Distt & Sessions Judge Jammu and members of Subordinate Judiciary were also present on the occasion, besides the Lawyers. Justice M M Kumar, Justice J.P.Singh, Justice Hasnain Massodi, Special Judge CBI Courts B L Bhat, Registrar General High Court of J&K, J R Kotwal, Principal Distt & Sessions Judge Jammu Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal and B S Slathia, President Bar Association Jammu also planted trees during the drive.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice appreciated the move initiated by the Bar Association Jammu and hoped that such type of Plantation-Drive will also be carried out in future as well, which shall go long way in maintaining the ecological balance. B S Slathia, President Bar Association Jammu assured the Chief Justice that this type of Plantation drive will be a regular feature and on the occasion has also appealed to the public at large and different institutions to carry out such Plantation Drive in order to save the humanity and to maintain ecological balance.
