122 Bn BSF organizes Free medical camp at Badiyal Brahmana

Jammu, Aug 17: A Free Medical camp was organized by 122 Bn BSF Paloura Camp Jammu in far flung and remote Border Village Badiyal Brahmana with an aim to bring the modern healthcare at the door step of the people who are deprived from the basic medical facilities.
Official spokesperson informed that the said medical camp was inaugurated by Manish Aul, Commandant 122 Bn BSF. Other prominent present on the occasion were Jai Karan Dy Commandant, M S Khair, Dy Commandant and Balkar Singh Asstt Commandant. A team of expert panel comprising Dr K K Gautam, CMO(SG) and Dr Neha Kaul Sharma examined the patients.
Official BSF spokesperson told over phone that the people of villages Badiyal Brahmana and its adjoining hamlets were benefited by the said camp organized here today. The medical camp first of its kind at Badiyal Brahmana received overwhelming response from the local and approximately 500 people from Village Badiyal Brahmana and neighbouring villages comprising aged men, women and children took visited the camp.
"Besides medical examining by the experts, the visitors were provided free medicines to the needy patients for the various types of diseases in the area, spokesperson said further adding, " the visitors were also served a high tea and sweets.
Locals have appreciated the initiative and have expressed their gratitude to the BSF for this cause, he said and added that BSF Jammu Frontiers is regularly holding these types of camps in the far flung border villages and rendering valuable helps to the border population.
